Bali is an island rich in culture; it is a world famous vacation site. Remains of a distinctly Indonesia-Hindu civilization are almost found exclusively there. Festivals, ceremonies, and special dances are held nearly everyday. Travel agents as well as hotels can provide information about specific events, such as the performance of Legong, Pendet, Ramayana, Kecak, etc.
There are many ways to travel around the island. Taxis and rental cars (with or without drivers) are available through hotels and travel agents. Transport from Kuta beach, Sanur beach town, and rural areas pass through every area and offer inexpensive rides.
Denpasar, the capital of the province, is the location of community temples and the Bali Museum. Ubud, an hour drive north from Denpasar, is the center Balinese painting. Mount Batur, an active volcano, has a beautiful view where tourist can go boating or just enjoy the scenery. You can see the most important sea temple in Tanah Lot. Anyone who likes surfing can enjoy themselves at Kuta beach or Sanur Beach. The two beaches have their own attraction for tourist to visit.
There are still many other places of interest in Bali and tourist ought to give themselves a lot of time to visit all of them.
